I have doubts about this project, just like any normal person would.
I've found myself asking questions that I figure other people might be asking too.
So I thought I'd hash some of those out and fill you in a little more on my thought process.
Has this already been done? What's so special about Suz traveling around and taking pictures?
I'm sure it's been done. People take pictures and post them all over the place. I guess the thing that makes my project different is I want people to learn from the history of the state, see the beauty, hear the stories. It's got a personal touch to it because I feel very strongly about it. And I mean, I think I take decent pictures but I can't be the final judge of that.
What exactly is this money going towards? Am I paying Suz to just travel around and take pictures?
Not really. You're ultimately paying for the finished product (whether that be the picture book, or prints of pictures.) The Kickstarter money will go towards producing rewards and sending them out mostly. Yes, I plan to use some to help get around to places to actually take the pictures, but I've been up front about that and it's just all part of the process. But hey, in all the trips that I take home for holidays via Highway 95, I can get a lot of pictures that way without really going out of my way or spending a lot of extra money. In all reality, I'm a dirt-poor college student and I can't completely afford to do this on my own. But I'm looking at this as an education opportunity that I can tie to my schooling and my future career, and that everyone else can benefit from too. Ultimately, you're getting a book or pictures of the people and places in this state that you love. And not only that, but I would hope that people outside the state would be able to get a good look at why we're so proud of where we come from.
What happens if the project doesn't get fully funded?
Point blank, it just doesn't get funded. And you know what? That's ok. It doesn't mean that'll I stop taking pictures and sharing them with you. It doesn't mean that I'll give up on the Idaho Project completely. It means that it will be put on hold, and that I'll just have to try again later. Heck, I'm afraid it won't get funded, but I still have lots of time, and wonderful things happen at the most unexpected times.
It's all part of life right? Sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding.
If I have 1,213 Facebook friends, 149 followers on Twitter and 350 followers on Instagram, I could have this project supported and funded in no time at all. But in all reality, very few of you will actually read this, like the Facebook page and visit the Kickstarter site. And that's ok! But if the few of you that do read this would share it with your friends and family, it would mean the world to me. I just want to show people what I'm doing, in hopes that they'll really like it.

So, I'm sure there are loads of other questions and concerns out there, but don't get tangled up in them.
I more than welcome any feedback or questions that you all may have, so please, don't hesitate to ask!
I appreciate you all, so much.
Much love,
Suz
